What is TosDiff?

TosDiff monitors Terms of Service, Privacy Policies, and other legal documents across websites. It automatically fetches documents on a schedule, detects when they change, and shows you exactly what was added or removed.

How it works

• Documents are fetched periodically using either standard HTTP requests or a headless browser (for JavaScript-heavy pages).
• Each fetched document is cleaned and normalised into plain text.
• A SHA-256 hash is computed and compared against the previous snapshot. If the content has changed, a new snapshot is saved.
• You can browse recent changes on the home page, view the full text of any snapshot, or see a side-by-side diff between two versions.
